Frequently Asked Questions

Your group size can be between 4-10 people. We will only accept one group per week so each trip is completely private for you, your friends and/or family.

• Daily breakfast

• Private drivers and transfers for all activities on the itinerary
• Four winery visits, including private tours and tastings
• Private excursion on Mt. Etna
• Private airport transfers to and from Catania on your arrival and departure dates*

*groups of 4-6 travelers have one arrival and one departure transfer included in their trip. Groups of 8-10 have two arrival and two departure transfers included. If your group requires additional transfers, the cost is €160 per transfer. The included transfers need to fall between the hours of 7am - 9pm; transfers outside these hours will incur a €50 surcharge. 

• Roundtrip airfare to Italy (trip starts and ends at Catania - airport code CTA)
• Any meals not listed on the itinerary
• Drivers for any activities you choose to schedule on your own
• Gratuities (not required, but recommended)*

*assuming you enjoy the experience and the service, then our recommendation is to tip €10-20 per winery visit (per couple) and €20-30 per day (per group) to the driver. Tipping can be done in cash (ATMs are widely available) or you can have us charge your card at the end of your trip--with instructions on how you'd like it distributed.

Please email rachel@molesiniwine.club to work on selecting your dates and to finalize your group's booking. Available dates can be found HERE. At the time of booking, we require a 50% deposit to secure your dates. The deposit can be paid by check or credit card. The deposit is non-refundable but can be transferred to another date, as long as the change is made at least 6 months prior to the trip's start date. The balance is due 90 days prior to your arrival. 

Sicily is an ideal place to visit because we typically have warm days year round. HERE is a helpful site for average monthly temperatures. 

Be sure to pack good hiking/walking shoes for your Etna excursion. Also, the winery visits involve walking through areas that can be dirty and on terrain which is uneven. Therefore, for the winery visits, please be sure to wear closed-toed shoes. 

For women, we recommend lightweight fabrics, linens are great and flowy dresses pack easily. A denim jacket is nice for throwing over a dress at night. A lightweight scarf is also a common and functional fashion piece in Italy. If you'll be with us in April, it would be wise to have pants and a sweater in case the weather is cooler on certain days. A rain jacket is also wise, if you have room.

Dinners are typically casual, except for Vineria Modi on Tuesday night in Taormina. For this dinner, we suggest dressing up as much as you are comfortable.
